Marmaris Historical Harbour
The historical Harbour and Seaside promenade have been restored over time and turned into a very pleasant place to have a walk at any time of the day. Many cafes, restaurants and shops can be found there. Marmaris harbour is frequented by local and foreign guests. Compared to other resorts, Marmaris port is much more charming and attractive.
Marmaris Castle
Marmaris Castle is set on a hill just behind the harbor. it was built in 1520 by King ''Kanuni Sultan''. Marmaris was settled around the castle from the past to the present. The castle is open to visitors every day from 8:30 to 17:30, except for Mondays. There is a panoramic view of Marmaris from the top of the castle. You can explore the old town and history of Marmaris in the narrow streets beneath the castle.
Marmaris Grand Bazaar
The Grand Bazaar is located between Marmaris castle and Ataturk square. There are many types of local shops where you can find souvenirs, Turkish delight, textiles and accessories. Vehicles and motorcycles are not allowed.
Marmaris water fountain show
A spectacular water show with lights and music can be seen every evening, starting with 21:00 in the center ''19th May square''. The show is organized completely free of charge by the municipality of Marmaris. One should not miss this opportunity.

Marmaris, Turgut Waterfall
Turgut Waterfall is 32 km from the center of Marmaris. It ıs located within the national park. The waterfall is 10 m high. You can swim at the bottom of the waterfall. In this region, there are many ancient buildings and old village houses. We highly recommend you to visit it.

Marmaris, Turtle Beach
Turtle Beach, 75 km from the center of Marmaris, is located in the town of Dalyan. Caretta turtles are laying eggs on this beach. That's why it’s called "Turtle Beach". Another interesting point about the beach is that one side is covered by fresh water and the other side by sea. Trips from Marmaris to Dalyan are organized daily.
Marmaris Sedir, Cleopatra Island
Cleopatra island is 24 km from the center of Marmaris. The island is located across of the Çamlı harbour. Lately, Sedir Island has been a very popular destination because of the mythological story and location. There are historical buildings, an amphitheatre, ancient graves and the famous beach. According to legend, Anthony and Cleopatra swam here and the sands were brought by ships from North Africa. It has been said that this type of sand can only be found in Egypt.
