Please note that our rafting activity, situated in the Dalaman River just an hour away from Marmaris, is entirely different from boat tours organized in other regions. An exhilarating journey awaits you through challenging rapids amidst the pristine nature. The Marmaris Rafting Tour is open to anyone aged 16 and above and is conducted with experienced guides. The tour is scheduled on specific days of the week and operates from 07:00 to 19:30. Although the journey from Marmaris to the Dalaman canyon takes some time, the quality time and entertainment experienced during the tour are absolutely worthwhile.
Is Marmaris Rafting Tour Safe?
The rafting tour is organized with all necessary safety equipment and under the guidance of experienced instructors. Before the activity, participants receive briefing and basic training from the instructors. Rafting is classified as an extreme sport, and like all extreme activities, it involves inherent risks. Participants are required to adhere to the instructions of the instructors during the activity.
Additional Information
- The rafting tour has limited availability, and reservations are non-refundable for participants who cancel or miss the shuttle on the morning of the tour.
- Your rafting tour ticket will be delivered to your hotel by one of our guides either one day before the tour or on the morning of the tour.
- Guests joining from outside the city are invited to our office on the morning of the tour, where we assist with parking and provide transportation to the rafting site.
- Participation in rafting activities is prohibited for individuals with heart conditions, asthma, epilepsy, those who have had surgery within the last 6 months, pregnant women, and individuals with vertigo or who are unfit for intense physical activities. Participants under 18 years old cannot join the tour without a consent letter from their parents.

Holiday Package Contents
On the morning of the tour, between 07:00 – 07:30, you will be picked up from the hotel you are staying at by our shuttle. You will then head towards Dalaman River with our guides. Dalaman River is approximately one hour away from Marmaris.
For guests who do not want to start the day without breakfast, we recommend obtaining a light breakfast from the hotel or grabbing a snack before the journey. The journey to the meeting point takes an average of 2 hours. Upon arrival at the meeting point, a morning breakfast service is provided. Right after the breakfast service, we recommend our guests to lock their personal belongings in the lockers available at the meeting point. Here, you will be provided with the necessary equipment for rafting, including life jackets, helmets, and paddles. Wearing sandals or flip-flops during the rafting tour is not recommended. We recommend bringing water shoes. After the necessary preparations, we transfer you to the starting point of the Dalaman Canyon. The arrival at the starting point of the canyon takes approximately 1 hour.
When we reach the starting point of the canyon, our instructors provide basic training to the participants. The basic training given by your instructor is crucial for you to have a quality and healthy day. The rafting tour takes about 3 hours in the 8 km canyon. Boats pass through each stage of the canyon one by one. The activity, organized within a certain order and rules, takes place with all safety measures taken into account.
Once the rafting tour is over, our transfer is first carried out at the meeting point. Here, you can take a shower and change your clothes. Lunch is served at the meeting point after the rafting tour. After the meal, we set out again for the return to Marmaris. The arrival time in Marmaris is between 19:30 and 20:30.
