Despite Akyaka being a popular and trendy holiday destination lately, unfortunately, there is no horse safari tour starting from Turunç. Many of our guests who want to participate in the Turunç horse safari tour come to our central office in Marmaris using public transportation or their own vehicles. You can comfortably join the Turunç horse safari tour by leaving your car in the parking lots around our office in Marmaris city center. The Turunç horse safari tour is organized outside of Marmaris, 17 km away, in the forest, away from traffic, on forest paths covered with bird sounds and daisies, accompanied by instructors. Turunç horse safari tour is suitable for riders of all ages and levels. We have special groups for both experienced and inexperienced riders. Our facility, equipped with trained horses, ensures quality service, capacity to meet guests’ requests, and all necessary safety measures to accommodate riders of every level.
The Turunç horse safari tour lasts a total of 4 hours, with approximately 2 hours spent on horseback. Professional riders can ride outside the group and accompanied by a guide if they wish, but they need to inform us in advance to organize this. The Turunç horse safari tour is suitable for all age groups, from 7 to 77. The horse tour is done with instructors and specially selected horses, especially for beginner riders. Children over 12 years old can participate in horseback riding. If desired, children over 7 years old can only go horseback riding with parental permission. Our activity lasts a total of 3 hours, with approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes spent on horseback. Marmaris horse safari hours are 10:00 – 12:00 – 14:00 – 16:00, with 4 sessions every day. The mentioned session hours are also the pick-up times for guests from their hotels or locations.
Is Turunç Horse Safari Dangerous?
The horse safari tour is not a dangerous tour. Gentle, balanced, and trained horses are chosen for the horse safari tour. Tours take place in convoy. A short briefing is given to our guests before starting the tour, and the tours are conducted under the supervision/guidance of instructors. However, no matter how many precautions are taken, participants should remember that they are on an animal for this tour. The horse safari tour falls into the category of ‘Extreme’ sports. Although our horses are trained, they will react to any negative behavior by the participants. Participants may find themselves in a risky situation if they provoke, hurt the horse, or do not listen to the instructor and act differently.

Contents of the Holiday Package
For our activity organized in 4 sessions throughout the day, we take you from our office to our farm located 17 km (15 minutes) outside of Marmaris. After the briefing by our guides at our farm, you choose the horse that suits you best.
We start our safari program with guides. The first stage includes a 45-minute slow ride and adaptation, followed by a 10-minute break. In the 2nd stage, we create two different groups: the 1st group for normal riding and the 2nd group for fast riding. You can continue in the group you want. During the safari, we cross rivers and climb hills. The forest paths where we organize the activity are dedicated only to horse riders and all safety measures are taken by our company.
After our horse tour is over, we return to the starting point. Later, we take you back to our office with our shuttle services.
